Port Everglades International Logistics Center

In January 2016, following a successful unsolicited proposal led by TFIC, and with partners (International Warehouse Services, Inc., and ANF Group Inc.), TFIC’s subsidiary Port Everglades International Logistics Center LLC (PE-ILC) was awarded a ground lease by Broward County FL, and Port of Port Everglades, to construct and re-establish the Free Trade Zone #25 on-port logistics terminal

The Port Everglades International Logistics Center is comprised of:

  • 146,000 sqft logistics warehouse
  • 91,000 sqft cold/frozen storage
  • 44,000 sqft office facility

Port Everglades is one of the leading container ports in Florida due in large part to the Port’s strategic location and easy accessibility.  Due to its design and location literally at the “front door” to the Port, the PE-ILC is one of the most modern and efficient logistics centers on the east coast of the US, and an instrumental part of the sustainability and improvement of containerized cargo through Port Everglades.

PE-ILC was fully leased by IWS and a major food distributor/shipper and upon completion it operated as the sole free trade zone at Port Everglades. TFIC and partners sold PE-ILC to CenterPoint Logistics
